Why I choose Nursing?

I choose Nursing because of my mother, she want me to be like her as a "NURSE". Among of us are in the field of Nursing my two brothers are both Professional Nurses just like my mother and my sister is graduated also of Bachelor of Science in Nursing. My elder sister is a Medical Representative which is like in the field in Medical Courses but honestly I don't like my degree of course which is in the field of Nursing because I'm afraid to handle patients that has a serious or chronic diseases. I want to be an artist nor a chef but my dreams fail because of my mother. As of now as I am already a second year nursing student I already accept the reality that I am now facing struggles and difficulties in life. Caring patients are difficult. A nurse helps to educate patients in issues of healthy living and wellness as well as any current or chronic disease process and treatment. A nurse performs treatments and procedures as prescribed by physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners. Nurses work in many different settings and perform duties related to the setting in which they work. A nurse's Scope of Practice is defined by the level of education and license earned.
